Yes! Many of our flavors can be made gluten-free, dairy-free, and/or nut-free upon request. All allergen-friendly batches are prepared separately with care. Please note that while we do our best to prevent cross-contamination, our kitchen is not a certified allergen-free facility.
Our bake studio is not certified kosher at this time. However, we honor the spirit of tradition in every batch we bake. If kosher certification is important to you, please let us know. It’s something we’re exploring for the future.
While mandel bread and biscotti are often compared, they are distinct traditions with different textures and origins. Mandel bread is a classic Jewish cookie, traditionally enjoyed during holidays and family gatherings. It is baked twice like biscotti, but the result is lighter and more tender, with a softer crunch rather than a hard snap.
Traditionally, mandel bread is made with almond flavoring, which is where the name originates. At Mandelicious™, our recipes do not rely on almond extract. Instead, we focus on carefully balanced flavors and ingredients that allow each variety to stand on its own.
Our mandel bread is crafted to balance crisp edges with a delicate interior, making it easier to enjoy on its own or alongside coffee or tea. It is less dry than traditional biscotti and designed to be flavorful without overpowering the moment.
Absolutely. We specialize in luxury gifting for client appreciation, events, and holiday orders. Please reach out to us at mandeliciousbakestudio@gmail.com for custom quotes and concierge service.
Mandelicious mandel bread is best stored in an airtight container at room temperature. It stays fresh for up to 2 weeks, though we doubt it will last that long! For longer enjoyment, you can freeze it, just let it come to room temp before serving.
